Who Should Avoid UV LED Lash Extensions?

1. Photosensitivity & UV Sensitivity
- Rosacea, Lupus, porphyria, or other UV-sensitive disorders
- Vitiligo or pigmentation disorders that react to UV light
- History of severe sunburns or UV-triggered skin reactions
- Oral acne treatments (e.g., Isotretinoin/Accutane, Tretinoin, Retin-A)
- Certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, sulfonamides)
- Chemotherapy or immunosuppressive drugs
- Photosensitizing pain relievers and diuretics (e.g., NSAIDs, hydrochlorothiazide)
- Clients using high concentrations of retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or lactic acid around the eyes may experience increased sensitivity.
- Prescription-strength skincare (e.g., Tretinoin, hydroquinone, benzoyl peroxide) can cause irritation near the lash line.
